As a parent trying to instill sanskar and cultural grounding in my baby, this sound book has been a blessing. Shlokas for Babies features sacred mantras with a simple press-and-play audio format that instantly captures my baby’s attention.
The soothing sound of each shloka brings a sense of calm, and it’s a great way to build a spiritual environment at home from the early months no screens, just pure, meaningful sound. The book is sturdy, beautifully designed, and easy for little hands to explore.
Highly recommended for parents who want to gently introduce Indian traditions and values right from the start.
My two girls (5 months and 2 years) love this book! The picture and sound quality are excellent! I love that we are able to introduce shlokas in such a creative way; this book makes remembering them so much easier for the kids. Would highly recommended!
Interesting subject...as you go along, please add more variations of shlokas and supporting music to keep babies involved alongwith adults too...
This book is amazing for little babies! It has colorful illustrations that the babies can easily see and enjoy from a young age where they can only see vibrant colors.
The idea of having a recorded sound play the Shlokas is a big bonus for us, because we can easily sing along the recording while the book is facing the baby and not us (parents). And the babies can learn how to speak the shlokas themselves too!
It is a great way to imbibe our culture to our kids and lay a strong foundation.
I highly recommend this book for babies, toddlers and kids of all ages.
What I love most about this book is how it encourages us as parents to engage with Prihan through repetition. We can create a little bonding moment around the mantras during quiet times or bedtime, which is so special. What also sets God's Blessings apart is the intentional focus on spiritual mindfulness. Rather than just reading words, the mantras create an opportunity for us to connect with Prihan on a deeper, more spiritual level. The soothing repetition of God-centered affirmations cultivates a peaceful, positive atmosphere that can become a cherished ritual—whether it's at bedtime or naptime.
Honestly, I think this would be such a calming addition to Prihan's bookshelf!
